Power questions 2010

As I sit here and think what to write, it is the end of the 2009 and I am thinking what it is my readers would like to read about? Well I could go on about a lot of things that have happened to me this year and that didn’t sit right with me. This is about the readers, it always is, as is all of my talks and clients, it is never really about me after all I am a tool in their journey.

So I thought what would be some amazing power questions that people can ask themselves, after all the power of the question determines the power of the answer, as we know how we answer our own questions determines our actions.

So I will start with the clichéd ones

• What is my greatest achievement/s this year
• How did I get there?
• Would I do it again?

Now some deeper ones

• What did I set out to achieve and didn’t?
• What got in my way?
• How did I empower this?
• What beliefs stopped me?

Even Deeper

• Was I honest about my ability to achieve it?
• Did I give it everything?
• What distractions did I empower?
• Who did I blame for me not succeeding?
• What emotions are attached to this?

Moving forward questions

• What lessons am I going to take from the answers I have given?
• If you were a fly on the wall and you have been watching yourself this year, what words of encouragement would you give yourself?
• What are you willing to do in your life to succeed and how are you going to do it differently?
• What empowering beliefs am I going to start developing to support me in getting to where I want to be?

There you have it some very powerful questions for you to answer, I would suggest you put at least an hour aside to answer these questions. Answering these questions will take you to a funny place, I would also suggest you reframe from judging yourself at all, the lesson is simply the lesson, it holds no judgement only learning to help you grow and get better.

2010 is the year of success, it is written in the starts as always you have choice you can stay where you are and repeat the year all over again or you can do things differently and have a better year? What are you going to choose and do about it?
